I keep Thunderbird open for email and newsgroup reader. Currently, I have 5 tabs open with Avast and the it's usage is 51%. It appears Avast Browser works on the same platform as Chrome. I normally used Chrome or Firefox but became frustrated at this issue which prompted me to try other browsers. Do one at a time so that you can isolate the rogue service, if any.Ĭurrently, I'm using Avast Secure Browser, which I read uses the least amount of memory. Try stopping services which are started by 3rd party software - especially any anti virus other than Windows Defender. Please be patient as most of us do this for free in our spare time.Įdited by pcpunk, 13 January 2020 - 02:29 PM. Open it and Copy Paste the Contents to your next post.
